Man Bites a Tasty Dog

 Man Bites Dog is one of my newest favorite restaurants to go to in Austin. Right off of Burnet and North Loop they keep it funky with a wide variety of dogs including "Hair of the Dog" shown below with a fried egg on top, and I like to keep it simple with my favorite, the Chili Cheese Dog.

These people have a passion for pork (and many other meats), and it is reflected by their delicious offerings.
On the side the pulled pork Mac N Cheese is perfect for pushing your already full stomach to the very edge, but every bite is worth the flavor! If you choose to be much more daring than I, you are more than welcome to try the Hot Dog with peanut butter, Jelly, and Captain Crunch cereal, I double dooog dare you!

My thoughts on their interesting cuisine...

I adored the "CholestaRoll", a heart roll of tempura dough stuffed with potatoes, green beans, chicken fried steak, and a southern gravy dipping sauce. My friends and I were stuffed beyond belief, which is good because the Shrimp Tempura roll I also ordered was less than satisfactory.

I would say, stick to their wacky, specialty rolls and you will be one über stuffed happy camper!

Cooking, and other musings of mine I have used Instagram to share. 

 Explorations in polymer clay, chalkboard paint, felt, fabric drying, sewing, and spray adhesive and modge podge to spruce up an old bar cabinet, and desk! etc...

I don't usually like to post photos not taken on my dslr, but most of these are from my Iphone, and I don't mind them!

The Man Behind the Books

 He was a poet (all words above by him), a father, and much more. I made this film a few years ago, I hardly ever share it, as it is quite a sliver of my heart exposed. But, nonetheless, it helps explain in the words I do not have why my father is so important to me.

Lovely Lovely Literature

Books to me are like treats for the mind, I've always loved reading, and so did my father. Some of my favorite books in my collection were his, and others are mine, but here are some of the books the tug at my heart strings.  

Not all my books are perfect, some even are stained with flowers from god knows how long ago, but I think that is what makes them great.
